The LTC1096LCS8#TR is a micropower, 8-bit A/D converter that draws only 80μA of supply current when converting. It automatically powers down to 1nA typical supply current whenever it is not the performing conversion. The LTC1096LCS8#TR is packaged in 8-pin SO package and has the 5V version. The 8-bit, switched-capacitor, successive approximation ADC includes sample-and-hold. The LTC1096LCS8#TR has a single differential analog input. This, coupled with micropower consumption, makes remote location possible and facilitates transmitting data through isolation barriers. The LTC1096LCS8#TR can be used in ratiometric applications or with an external reference.
